L'album Operation: Mindcrime dei Queensrÿche, concept album d'annata (1988), è spet-ta-co-la-re 
Per brevi periodi riesco a dimenticarmene, ma non appena mi capita il CD sotto mano passa in riproduzione continua da mattina a sera e non c'è modo di smettere di cantarlo/suonarci sopra/ascoltarlo 
E' un progressive metal cristallino, sezione ritmica solida, chitarre davvero energiche, cori da brivido e la voce impareggiabile di Geoff Tate... non a caso ritenuto universalmente uno dei migliori concept album della storia della musica!
