Non potevo non dedicare una entry del mio blog a questo personaggio che ha reso molto più piacevole lo studio di Sistemi Operativi e Reti di Calcolatori!
Cercavo online qualche sua famosa frase, ecco quelle reperite finora:
~ The nice thing about standards is that you have so many to choose from. Furthermore, if you do not like any of them, you can just wait for next year's model.
~ This [approach] would violate special relativity, so we decided not to try to implement it.
~ Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway.
~ Of course, Linus [Torvalds] didn't sit down in a vacuum and suddenly type in the Linux source code.... He had my book.... But the code was his. The proof of this is that he messed the design up.
~ No hardware designer should be allowed to produce any piece of hardware until three software guys have signed off for it.
