quel bellissimo controllo che in VB6 si chiamava winsock???
Ho trovato solo il naming space System.net, ma ci ho capito poco....

nessun modo per usarlo "Vecchia maniera"??

Credo che l'unico modo sia quello di usare il namespace System.Net.Sockets, ma ne ho sentito solo parlare... nessuna prova diretta! :)

Si adesso esiste System.net.sockets e non puoi usarlo in altro modo.
Io avevo bisogno di metter su una scambio di dati via FTP sulla base di una connessione RAS e ho dovuto sudare!!
Ed ho scoperto, con grande disappunto, che il protocollo FTP non è stato sviluppato ed è invece stato commissionato ad altre società di software e quindi va acquistato a parte.
Ho consulato un po' di siti di programmazione ma non c'è nulla!

UPDATE: sono in ballo con System.net.sockets :D
Sto facendo piccole applicazioni client-server per ora, cmq e' bello sapere che M$ si e' ricordata di inserire i thread in VB .net :D
