 [Errore]Slide Prog.IEEE e LAN

Ciao a tutti!
Guardate nella 2a parte delle slides.... quella intitolata LAN e progetto 802: liv. MAC e LLC.

Nella slide "Broadcast e Multicast: esempi di utilizzo" sono state invertite le parole "broadcast" e "multicast" o no?

xè sul libro di Gai le due modalità SOLICITATION e ADVERTISEMENT sono riferite al multicast e non al broadcast...

anche se il broadcast lo si può vedere come un particolare multicast....

Cmq il prof mi ah detto che indicherà cosa guardare sul SDH e PDH, ATM e satelliti...

direi che arrivo enormemente in ritardo:) ...

comunque in caso potesse ancora interessare penso che è il multicast che è un caso particolare di broadcast e che Solicitacion e Advertisement si riferiscono appunto alla trasmissione broadcast.

Se a una stazione serve un servizio particolare lo richiede a tutte quelle presenti sulla LAN (broacast), non solo a un gruppo (multicast).
