raga ma il trigger che fa partire la liquidazione dei dipendenti all'inserimento di un evento dell'anno nuovo, come caspita si fa a farlo usando l'sql standard?

Il prof ci ha detto espressamente di usare solo sql standard, quindi niente select extract year from 'anno'... :(
Ma come si fa a fare questo trigger senza discriminare in base all'anno??

Perchè Extract Years From non è sql standard? :?

Noi per le funzioni trigger abbiamo usato plpgsql...

Per i trigger anche noi abbiamo usato plpgsql, ma io ho il dubbio se select extract, date_trunc o date_part facciano parte dell'sql standard o no... :cry:

[EDIT] ok il prof mi ha detto via mail che select extract si può usare
