Eurodeputati: stipendi, vincono gli italiani Sono versati dai rispettivi governi e sono equiparati a quelli dei deputati nazionali, ma gli extra sono pagati da Strasburgo

C'è un settore economico in cui l'Italia non ha rivali in Europa. Sono gli stipendi dei deputati al Parlamento europeo. Lo rivela il quotidiano inglese «Times» in un articolo di Anthony Browne secondo il quale gli «extra» degli eurodeputati sono agli sgoccioli. Gli stipendi dei deputati europei sono versati dai rispettivi governi e sono equiparati a quelli dei deputati nazionali, ma gli extra sono pagati da Strasburgo e, secondo Browne, alcuni eurodeputati ammettono che a volte rasentino un vero e proprio sistema di «corruzione legalizzata».
L'Europarlamento aveva difeso questo sistema di extra come un mezzo per bilanciare i deputati che guadagnavano di più con quelli che avevano uno stipendio minore. I vari governi sono d'accordo nel modificare questo sistema, ma spetta agli eurodeputati approvare le modifiche e finora hanno sempre rifiutato di perdere i propri privilegi. Ma con la crisi iniziata con i voti contrari di Francia e Olanda alla Costituzione europea, potrebbe diventare difficile questa volta rifiutare l'approvazione. Sempre che i cittadini europei siano informati di quanto guadagna un eurodeputato

LA CLASSIFICA - Alcuni eurodeputati ricevono dodici mensilità, alcuni tredici e altri quattordici. Per uniformare i salari, si è scelto di riportare i guadagni annuali secondo i dati pubblicati da Times. Ne risulta che un eurodeputato italiano percepisce in un mese (12.007,03 euro) quasi quanto un lèttone prende in un anno.

Gratis: telefono cellulare, tribuna d'onore agli stadi, tessera del cinema, tessera teatro, tessera autobus-metro, viaggi aerei(nazionali), viaggi treno con cuccetta, circolazione autostrade, corsi di lingua, vagone rappresentanza FFSS, aerei di Stato, uso di Prefetture e Ambasciate, cliniche, rimborso spese mediche(al ristorante del Senato e della Camera debbono invece pagare, ma cifre talmente irrisorie….. nel 1997 pare che abbiano consumato gratis 4 milioni di cappuccini e tramezzini alla buffetteria del Senato), assicurazione infortuni, assicurazione per morte, autoblu con autista (circa 40.000 auto), giornali (circa 4 miliardi di lire l'anno). Non pagano neanche il parrucchiere.

Io posso confermare per certo che anche a livello locale (Assessori comunali) si hanno una serie di privilegi: Per esempio a Bergamo un assessore ha diritto a salire gratis sui mezzi pubblici, di avere un abbonamento al teatro, nonchè all'Atalanta... suppongo ce ne siano altri ma non ne sono a conoscenza.

Mi ricordo anche che alle Iene facevano vedere come i deputati potessero agevolmente scavalcare le liste d'attesa per le visite all'ospedale.


... bisogna arrendersi all'evidenza che l'indole dell'Italiano è mafiosa... checcivuoifà?

direi che già con la gratuità completa sui trasporti (autostrade, automobili, treni, aerei etc etc.. ) sullla telefonia (apparecchi e tariffe) sulle spese mediche (anche solo parlando di un rimborso, e anche parzialmente), siamo quasi a uno stipendio completo di un operaio!

contando che MI PARE che a beneficiare di tutti i privilegi siano anche mogli/figli!
