 Angry [Windows2K] il mio PC si resetta da solo!

Ciao!
Ho un problema che mi perseguita ormai da diverso tempo.
Molte volte (ultimamente direi 2 su 3) quando voglio spegenre il PC, mi si riavvia da solo!
In pratica cliccando indifferentemente su "Disconnetti utente", "Riavvia il sistema" o "Arresta il sistema", il computer si resetta di colpo e si riavvia, proprio come se l'avessi resettato io manualmente... con conseguente perdita degli ultimi dati e impostazioni non salvate.
Non capisco da cosa possa dipendere... l'antivirus (Avast) non mi segnala nessun virus...

PS: non credo sia un problema hardware: ho un un'altra installazione di Win2000 su un altro HD e non mi ha mai dato dato questo problema.

Potrebbe essere questione di drivers. Succedeva anche a me con windows 2000 quando usavo i drivers generici di Win. Ho installato i drivers ufficiali dei produttori di ogni singolo componente hardware e tutto si è risolto.

Penso anch'io che si tratti di qualche problema con qualche processo di Windows....ma come individuare quale?

Darky, fai una ricerca sul dsy... e vai a vedere il problema che avevo io... magari trovi qualche spunto utile...

prova a cercare "riavvia" o "reset" o "registro eventi"

Beh... non mi sembra un problema così grosso da giustificare una soluzione così drastica... piuttosto lo tengo così ;)

Cmq ho fatto alcune prove, sembra che se prima di chiudere la sessione uccido manualmente alcuni processi (non di sistema), di solito Windows si chiude in maniera corretta...
