 [PROGRAMMAZIONE] Domanda veramente ma veramente da novellino

Salve a tutti gli smanettoni, oggi ho provato a scrivere il mio primo programma in C usando Linux. Ebbene, sono riuscito a mandarlo in crash... :shock:
Ho usato Emacs come editor di testo, ho compilato scrivendo da riga di comando gcc server.c e mi ha creato in uscita un file a.out. Preso di sprovvista ho scritto da riga di comando ./a.out e lì mi è crashato tutto!

Dove ho sbagliato? Cosa avrei dovuto fare invece? Perchè sono così coglione? :D

Ora sto provando ad installare Cygwin per usare ste cavolo di socket... speriamo in bene!

perché di recente è capitato anche a me di avere un crash irreparabile in linux, roba incredibile!!!

Intendo proprio tutto il sistema! :shock:

Il mio listato era il codice per un client/server usando il protocollo TCP perfettamente funzionante perchè testato su altri sistemi! :(

non saprei, se te lo fa sempre prova ad utilizzare un kernel piu' aggiornato, altrimenti, se puoi, posta il codice.

Ero in Silab... il pc era inutilizzabile (mouse e tastiera non rispondevano, l'orologio non avanzava)! :)

Comunque grazie per l'aiuto, di Linux non so proprio una mazza. Dopodomani provo Knoppix o Lindows da cd e vediamo se fa la stessa cosa sul mio piccì!

dovevi specificare il file di output

es. gcc -o filedioutput server.c

poi mandavi in esecuzione il file ./filedioutput

in teoria dovrebbe andare, poi dipende sempre che programma hai scritto...

a me è capitato una volta una cosa del genere ma xkè avevo fatto casino con le fork, e si trattata proprio di un programma client/server basato su socket TCP/IP
