Obviously the wife had done something to offend her husband, so he commmences to beat her in public. I am talking full blows about the face and head. She is screaming bloody murder, and rolling around on the floor. Nobody could do anything because you would have been interfering with a family relationship and you would have gone to jail. I had seen the outside of a Saudi jail and definitely didn't want to see the inside of one. The guards just sat there and watched, didn't try to calm the guy down or anything." Added 08 FEB 04
