Il risultato non è in percentuale perchè il numero che viene è solamente un intero. Per trasformalo in percentuale bisogna dividere per 100.

Es: il 20% non è 20, ma 20/100

Quindi se alla fine il risultato è venuto 7, questo si sarebbe dovuto dividere per 100: 7/100 = 0,07%

Secondo me naturalmente.

Mah....nella lezione degli esercizi la prof Pagani teneva il risultato che usciva e ci aggiungeva il %....quindi se esce 6.99 lei diceva che era 6.99%

Bisogna moltiplicare! non dividere! comunque dubito che il risultato sia gia in percentuale...e mi sembra che la Pagani negli esercizi moltiplicava per ottenere la percentuale!

A lezione la prof moltiplicava per 100 cioè spostava la virgola di 2 posti.. ha sempre fatto così... cmq l'esecizio poteva venire tranquillamente 800% perchè no? era solo in linea teorica un'eserizio quindi perchè è scorretto 800%??

e poi quella della fast ethernet??? che cosa avete messo??

cmq io ho messo 0,31 per il beb 2^n -1 ... boh.... ciaooo

non ricordo bene la domanda del BEB comunque se chiedeva l'intervallo penso andasse moltiplicato per il tempo di slot.
Come dice qua:


3.1.1 Slot Time
The "slot time" is a key parameter for half-duplex Ethernet network operation. It is defined as 512 bit times for Ethernet networks operating at 10 and 100 Mb/s,

Backoff is the process by which a transmitting station determines how long to wait following a collision before attempting to retransmit the frame. If all stations waited the same length of time before retransmission, then another collision would inevitably occur. This is avoided by having each station generate a random number which determines the length of time it must wait before testing the carrier. This time period is known as the station's "backoff delay".

The backoff algorithm implemented in Ethernet is officially known as "truncated binary exponential backoff". Following a collision, each station generates a random number that falls within a specified range of values. It then waits that number of slot times before attempting retransmission.

in un esercizio la prof aveva come risultato 0,5 è lo a definito con un uso del 50% della banda, ma poi scusate quando si pone a 1 l'utilizzo sivuole intendere l'utilizzo del 100% della banda, quindi se la mat non è un'opinione va da se che 8 significa l'800 % di utilizzo della banda.
per quanto riguarda BEB
è vero che bisogna fare 2 elevat al numero delle collisioni meno 1
quindi 31 ma bisogna moltiplicarlo per la durata dello slot che è di 51,2
