 Esercizio Veloce Reti (calcolo Rto)

Si consideri una connessione TCP cha al tempo Tx ha valori di RTT=37 msec. e RTO=45
msec., e si supponga che nella trasmissione con successo dei 2 segmenti successivi si misurino
dei valori di round-trip time di 40 e 43 msec. rispettivamente. Indicare i valori aggiornati di
RTT e RTO dopo ogni ricezione di ack.


--> Calcolo RTT1 secondo la formula e mi esce 37.3 ( ok)
-->Calcolo RTO1 secondo la formula e mi esce 49,88 (errato ) perche' dovrebbe risultare 45.58
Mi potete aiutare?

le formule da applicare in successione sono:
RTO=RTT+4D ->trovi D che è 2
poi: RTT'=0,9*RTT+(1-0,9)*M
poi: D'=0,9*D+0,1*|RTT'-M|
infine:RTO'=RTT'+4D'

Credo che M sia il valore misurato dell'RTT ( lo misuri con gli ack dei segmenti trasmessi CON SUCCESSO cioè per le ritrasmissioni occhio a Karn).

Non ho capito ...
In che senso ?
Le formule sono 3 quella per calcolare RTT, D e RTO.
Le devi usare nel caso di TCP, tutto qui.


Oppure non ho capito che cosa chiedevi :D

Dovevi calcolarti tutto 3 volte ...
Alla faccia della multipla :)
Se facevi qualche errore di calcolo ma il procedimento era giusto erano solo fatti tuoi :D

potevi calcolare solamente l'RTT e vedere a quale risposta corrispondeva senza fare i calcoli di D e RTO ;)
