Secondo questo sito dicono che hanno trovato un liquido: "non conduttivo, non infiammabile e non cortocircuitabile, dove si possono immergere componenti elettronici senza alcuna controindicazione."
Permetterebbe di ridurre il rumore del computer!!

Mai sentito parlare di liquidi inerti???

Beh la Cray utilizza da diverso tempo "Fluorinert " per sottrarre calore ad intere board immerse nel liquido.

X1 l'ultimo nato in casa Cray (50 TFLOP scusate se e' poco) raffredda i singoli processori che consumano 50W ciascuno, spruzzando il Fluorinert direttamente sul processore. Il liquido evapora e poi condensa!!!! E' a ciclo chiuso!!!!!
