Ciao a tutti,

ho il seguente quesito da porvi?

ho un bel portatilino con installato Fedora Core 5 e un router wireless Philips
( mod. sna4500 ) che vorrei far andare sotto linux...

la documentazione del router parla solo di windows,

il mio notebook ha la scheda wireless gia' integrata...

come fare a far rilevare la suddetta scheda e il router da linux ?

ci sono dei tool ad hoc o dei drivers come quelli che a suo tempo erano usciti per i primi modem adsl ( flashtux ..mi sembra ..)

qualcuno c'è passato?

come fare?

beh, i router hanno normalmente un'interfaccia di configurazione raggiungibile via web, quindi non c'e' necessita' che vengano "rilevati" dal pc, basta mettere nel browser l'indirizzo IP del router...

per la wireless integrata, devi vedere che chip utilizza la scheda.
