Ave, ho provato un simpatico brute force sul mio /etc/shadow, sono arrivato a 7 ore di cpu e nessuna password trovata. La cosa non mi sorprende ( ok me la meno di meno (notare il gioco di parole) ), cmq circa quanto tempo potrebbe impiegare ?

So di gente che fa test su password alfanumeriche di 6/8 caratteri e ha john in esecuzione da 7 mesi.

In questi casi torna utile il calcolo distribuito.
