se non sbaglio la differenza sta nel modo di scrivere i cd... uno dal centro verso l'esterno l'altro al contrario...

:asd: pure io, da quel che ne sò (e presumo mi debba aggiornare)
-R: pioneer (solo dvdrw a 2,5x)
+r: philips, hp: (dvdr e dvdrw, 1x)
l'unico che conosco è il sony drv500a che supporta il + e -.

A parte la marca voi che prendereste +r o -r?
Parlano tanto di standard, e poi fanno di tutto per fare i non-standard :asd:

Io ho preso un LiteOn doppio formato 4x e ho risolto il problema :)

Il bello del suddetto piromane è che sui normali CD-R va a 40x e 24x sui CDRW, cosa piuttosto inusuale per un masterizzatore DVD :)

Sì, fa masterizzatori doppio formato e credo che di recente abbia buttato fuori anche un modello 8x. SCSI non ne ho idea, ti direi di guardare sul sito ma è fatto malissimo (qualcuno mi spiega perché quasi tutti i siti dei produttori HW sono organizzati da far schifo??).

Unico consiglio: se prendi il LiteOn 4x scricati immediatamente il firmware FS0F e patchalo, aumenta la compatibilità con i DVD-R/RW di marche scrause (col firmware base è un pò snob :asd: ).
